The Edelbrock 7788 Valley Cover; GM Gen III LS-Series No Knock Sensor Bosses is designed specifically for GM LS1/LS6 engines from 1997-2004 and related Gen III engines converted from EFI to carbureted setups. This cover replaces the stock part by removing unnecessary knock sensor bosses, optimizing compatibility for carbureted configurations and improving engine tuning flexibility.

      Construction and Appearance. Crafted from durable aluminum using a sand casting process, the plate features a natural aluminum finish that offers both strength and corrosion resistance. Its one-piece design includes drilled mounting holes for secure installation and incorporates a breather boss that allows for user customization.

      Installation. Installation requires basic mechanical skills and may involve drilling and tapping of the breather boss if retaining or converting to stock LS-6 breather setups. This ensures proper fit and function in carbureted conversions.
