Description
This kit includes the brackets and hardware needed to mount a TH200/350/400/700R4 automatic transmission in your 1955, 1956 or 1957 Chevy Bel Air, 150, 210, Nomad or wagon. There's nothing like cruising in your Tri-Five. However, you can quickly wind up some serious RPMs when you have to hit the interstate. Eckler's Classic Chevy has a bracket kit that can make the installation of your modern overdrive transmission a whole lot easier. If you are not concerned about gas mileage, at least do the conversion to add a little longevity to your engine by reducing your cruising RPM significantly with an overdrive transmission swap or get more performance by adding a couple of more gears over the stock Powerglide.
