      Description

      This correct reproduction Chevy ignition switch lock cylinder fits all 1955-57 ignition switches. Very often the original Chevy lock cylinder may have been damaged due to improper removal from the ignition switch. This unit comes complete with a coded cylinder, the chrome bezel and 2 pre-cut keys. To remove your original Chevy ignition lock switch lock cylinder, the original key must be inserted. Be certain the lock cylinder is switched to the "Lock" position and insert the straightened end of a paper clip into the small hole in the ignition lock cylinder. Jiggle it a few times and the lock cylinder will come out. To install the new unit, simply align with the boss inside of the ignition switch and push it in until it clicks into place.
