Description
This replacement cadmium plated Chevy gas cap is very similar to the original cap used on all Bel Air, 210, 150, Sedan Delivery, Nomad & Wagon. It is a non-vented cap just like the original Chevy cap. All 1955, 1956 & 1957 fuel systems vent via a slot in the filler neck, not out the cap. The paper gasket on the original Chevy gas cap often goes bad after 50 years and the cadmium finish is usually discolored. Add a fresh look to your upper filler neck area with a brand new plated Chevy gas cap.
