      Description


      This crossmember-back system is designed to replace the entire OEM exhaust system from the manifold, or header, back to the tailpipe on models from 1955-1957. Tru-X crossover pipes balance airflow for these dual exhaust systems and help to boost horsepower. MagnaFlow systems have mandrel-bent tubes that allow for unrestricted airflow by maintaining the same diameter throughout every curve. This consistency in diameter leads to decreased back pressure. Each MagnaFlow performance muffler has a stainless steel, perforated core that runs through the muffler - end to end - with no baffles, chambers or louvers that restrict airflow. A layer of stainless steel wool insulates the perforated core to absorb noise, shield from high exhaust temperatures and prevent blowouts. Together, the man
