Description
Electronic Ignition Conversion. The Ignitor maintains the original distributor's appearance while upgrading the ignition triggering mechanism to a modern electronic design.
Construction and Appearance. The module is epoxy molded, making it highly resistant to contamination by dirt, oil, grease, and moisture. It uses rotating cobalt magnets to trigger a Hall Effect integrated circuit, eliminating points wear and ensuring maintenance-free, stable timing performance. Its design preserves the clean, stock distributor look.
Installation. Installation is straightforward, as the Ignitor replaces the points assembly within the original distributor. It does not require modifications or special adjustments, making it suitable for users familiar with ignition system maintenance.
