      Convertible top cylinders will have to be replaced at some point on your 1955, 1956 or 1957 Chevy Bel Air convertible. The convertible top and frame are heavy as a unit and over time the convertible ram arms will fail and start to leak which will cause the top to work erratically or not at all.
