Description
This CCI Chevy rack & pinion steering mega kit is the best way to upgrade your classic to modern steering. You won't believe how well your classic Chevy drives once you install this kit. All major components, hardware and instructions needed to complete the installation are included; nothing is left out. Your engine must be a short water pump Mark IV, V or VI big block Chevy. his rack & pinion kit utilizes the original steering column mast & works with your Chevy's stock outer tie rod ends and sleeves. The stock steering box is removed and no longer used. Some measuring and steering shaft cutting is necessary. It does require exhaust system modification; either use our headers P/N 57-134404-1 or 57-134405-1, or a Chevy exhaust manifold with a 45 degree rea
