Description
This molded ABS Chevy firewall insulation pad is an updated replacement of the original firewall and dash pad that covers the entire inner firewall. This pad is made of tough black ABS plastic and has heat and sound insulation qualities far superior to the original Chevy cardboard firewall pad. In addition, the plastic is far easier to clean and maintain and soil resistant than the cardboard. The construction of this pad makes it the perfect upgrade for your custom car. The original Chevy pads can even become a fire hazard; so be sure to inspect yours and replace if necessary. Be sure to make this decision early in the restoration process, as this pad is the first item to install under your dash before wiring, gauges, heater, etc…This ABS pad is fully molded so no shaping is required
