This conversion box is ideal for enthusiasts seeking better handling and comfort in their classic Mustang.
Construction and Appearance. This power steering box is assembled and tested in the USA using globally sourced components. It features durable materials engineered to withstand high pressure with a maximum operating capability of 1450 PSI. The unit includes 16mm X 1.5 flare pressure and return ports, and a robust 1-1/8 inch pitman shaft constructed with 32 splines and 4 master splines, ensuring a strong, reliable connection.
Installation. Installation requires modification of the steering column due to necessary adjustments. Careful alignment and measurement are essential prior to mounting to ensure proper fit and function.
Warranty. This product comes with a 3-year warranty, providing assurance in its craftsmanship and longevity.
Application. Specifically designed for the 1967-1970 Ford Mustang with a 1-1/8 inch sector shaft. It is not compatible with Mustangs equipped with the factory Z-Bar clutch linkage due to clearance limitations.
