      High-Performance Carburetor. The Edelbrock 800 CFM AVS2 Carburetor Thunder Series delivers superior fuel atomization for high-horsepower small- and big-block engines. Designed with advanced annular flow booster technology, it optimizes throttle response and power across all RPM ranges, making it ideal for street and performance applications.

      Construction and Appearance. Crafted from durable aluminum, the carburetor features a satin finish that provides a sleek yet functional look. Its robust construction ensures longevity and resistance to harsh engine conditions while maintaining an appealing, professional appearance suitable for performance vehicles.

      Installation. Installation is straightforward, requiring no drilling for mounting. The manual choke design is ready to install with compatible components but cannot be converted to electric choke, so correct selection is crucial prior to installation. Note that this carburetor is not calibrated for or compatible with alcohol, race, or E85 pump fuels; use of these will damage the carburetor and void the warranty. A new fuel filter is required between the fuel pump and carburetor to maintain warranty coverage. Additionally, Avs2 carbs will work with Ford automatic overdrive transmissions (AOD) when used with the appropriate Lokar bracket (SRK-4000).
