Description
This system is designed to work in plastic fuel tanks only; some of the 1999 models still used a steel tank. The 1999-2004 models used a smaller factory fuel sending unit than the later 2005-2017 models. The smaller size limits the pump configurations that this tank will accommodate. These tanks will accommodate single 340, dual 340, and single 450 pump configurations. Any other combination of pumps will physically not fit through the factory sending unit hole. The Silverado and Sierra tanks have a tank depth of approximately 14.00”, while the other models are more shallow and have depths around 8.25”. The new system will accommodate both of these tank depths. The 2500 truck models can have a deeper tank up to 17.00”; the system will also accommodate these depths as well.
