      High-Performance Brake Kit. The Wilwood 1988-1998 Chevy-GMC C1500 Wilwood AERO6 Front Brake Kit, featuring 5 lug 6 piston red calipers and 14.25-inch drilled and slotted rotors with ABS, is engineered to deliver enhanced stopping power and brake durability for heavy-duty and off-road applications. This kit provides robust braking performance for vehicles that demand superior heat dissipation and consistent operation, making it ideal for towing, off-road driving, and vehicles with upgraded wheel and tire packages.

      Construction and Appearance. The kit includes AERO6 six-piston radial mount calipers finished in red powder coat for corrosion resistance and a striking appearance. The large 14-inch rotors incorporate directional staggered vanes and are drilled and slotted with a black electro-coat Spec-37 iron surface to optimize cooling and wear resistance. Precision-machined aluminum hubs and big brake flared bell aluminum hats, both finished with a black electro-coat, combine lightweight strength with lasting durability.

      Installation. This brake kit must be installed using Wilwood's one-piece iron Pro drop spindles, as it is not compatible with original equipment spindles. The assembly is designed for bolt-on installation without the need for drilling, providing a straightforward upgrade for compatible vehicles.
