      Description

      High-Performance Exhaust System. The Hooker Competition Header Back Exhaust without muffler is designed to improve engine efficiency by reducing back-pressure and enhancing exhaust flow. This header-back exhaust system is intended for competition use, providing reliable performance benefits.

      Construction and Appearance. Made from durable 16-gauge aluminized steel tubing, the system features mandrel bends that preserve pipe diameter to prevent restrictions. The aluminized finish offers corrosion resistance and a clean, functional look appropriate for high-performance applications.

      Installation. Installation includes the necessary hardware and instructions. Basic mechanical skills are sufficient for installation.

      Application. Fits long wheelbase 1963-1972 1/2, 3/4, and 1-ton trucks 2WD and 1969-1972 Chevy/GMC Blazer, Suburban, Carryall, Yukon, and 1-ton crew cab 2WD with engines ranging from 265 to 400 cubic inches. Designed to pair specifically with header number 2452HKR and will not fit stock manifolds that exit straight down.
