      Threaded Air Cleaner Stud. The Scott Drake Threaded Air Cleaner Stud is designed to secure the Hi-Po air cleaner assembly effectively by replacing the original screw that is often missing. Its longer length makes it ideal for accommodating high-performance air cleaner installations and maintaining proper air filter housing fitment for optimal engine performance.

      Construction and Appearance. Crafted from high-quality steel for strength and durability, this stud features a zinc surface finish to resist corrosion and wear. It has a dual-thread design with End 1 measuring 5/16 diameter with 18 threads per inch, and End 2 measuring 1/4 diameter with 20 threads per inch, ensuring compatibility and reliable fastening with most Autolite carburetors.

      Installation. Installation is straightforward and involves simply replacing the existing screw, with no drilling required. The slightly longer length simplifies fitting the Hi-Po air cleaner on compatible carburetors.

      Application. This stud fits 1968-1972 Mustang models, ensuring a direct and secure fit with the Hi-Po air cleaner assemblies used on these vehicles.
