      Description

      This is the right side dummy mirror that is used with the original left side remote mirror. The original dummy mirror used flat mirror glass; this mirror features convex mirror glass for improved viewing and safety. Includes mirror mounting gasket and hardware. Base length is 6-5/8", hole-to-hole is 5-7/8".

      NOTE: This mirror matches our 44-42468-1 left side mirror.

      1969 Ford Ranchero

      The mirror is a very nicely shaped and proportioned mirror that mimics the original left mirror. I mounted the baes identical to where the left mirror was mounted by Ford. However I couldn’t adjust the new right mirror enough to see down the side of the car properly. Not even close. I had to take the mirror head off and shave the angle of the base considerably to allow the mirror head to adjust inward and upward to see down the side of the car properly. Eckler’s product description says that this mirror will fit a 69 Ranchero but the label on the box the mirror came in says it only fits years 67-68??? So, be prepared to modify the mirror base if you want to be able to see down the passenger side of the car.
