Description
This Chevy rack & pinion mega steering kit is the best way to upgrade your classic to modern steering. You won't believe how well your classic Chevy drives once you install this kit. All major components, hardware and instructions needed to complete the installation are included; nothing is left out. Your engine must be a short water pump small block Chevy with a harmonic balancer that accepts bolt-on pulleys. If your balancer is the riveted-pulley type, order harmonic balancer P/N 57-132125-1. This rack & pinion kit works with your Chevy's stock outer tie rod ends and sleeves. The stock steering box is removed and no longer used. Some measuring and steering shaft cutting is necessary. The couplers included with this kit work with all ididit columns, making installation even easier
