1955-1957 Chevy Nomad Liftgate Weatherstrip (Nomad, All Models)

Supplemental liftgate weatherstrip from Eckler's Classic Chevy solves a frustrating weather-sealing problem on Nomads. The problem is the original body opening weatherstrip design doesn't seal the liftgate sufficiently. Annoying water leaks often continue even after replacing that weatherstrip, making this aftermarket remedy a valuable solution. This supplemental liftgate weatherstrip is 1/2" wide, half-round, closed cell foam made from an EPDM-neoprene blend for all-weather flexibility and resistance to ozone deterioration. Attached by gluing onto the liftgate inner perimeter, this supplemental liftgate weatherstrip provides an effective second water barrier for this leak-prone surface. We recommend using 3M Super Weatherstrip Adhesive, P/N 49-06, to securely fasten this supplemental lift
