      A Corvette-style aluminum replacement wheels may be just the extra style your 1949-1954 Chevy needs. Your clear coat on your stock wheels can discolor, stain, flake off and your wheels can become scratched and pitted. You could have them professionally refinished but doing it right is expensive and takes a lot of time. In reality, refinishing them can easily cost you more than buying a new set.
