      Description

      Telescopic Steering Component. The Borgeson Telescopic Lower Steering Shaft replaces the original lower steering shaft on full-size Chevy and GMC trucks, providing a direct connection from the upper steering shaft to the steering box. It improves steering precision by eliminating the factory rag joint and reducing vibrations through its advanced universal joint, ensuring a smoother and more responsive driving experience.

      Construction and Appearance. Crafted from heavy-duty steel, this shaft features a telescopic design that allows adjustable length and enhanced durability. It includes a billet steel universal joint designed to absorb vibrations and is finished with a corrosion-resistant texture for long-lasting performance under demanding conditions.

      Installation. Installation is straightforward, serving as a direct replacement for the factory lower steering shaft without requiring drilling. It fits precisely with existing factory components, suitable for professional installation or experienced DIY enthusiasts.

      Warranty. This steering shaft is backed by a 5-year warranty, ensuring quality and reliability.

      Application. Designed specifically for 1999 and 2000 Silverado 1500 models. It is not compatible with C3500 models that have a 15,000lb GVW due to fitment limitations.
