It is a reproduction front crossmember lower reinforcement (jack pad) for the 1966-1969 Fairlane & Comet, 1967-1969 Ranchero, and 1968-1969 Torino & Montego. Often damaged due to jacking up the vehicle and/or hitting the pavement, this piece welds to the underside of the front crossmember, creating a reinforcement or pad at the jacking point. Stamped from high-quality steel, each bracket is made using AMD's exclusive tooling. Yours will arrive as bare steel, and ready to weld in place.
