One of the most exciting new parts for your Malibu! This all new shift indicator assembly was painstakingly manufactured to correct, factory specifications using original, GM tooling. Over time, the friction of the slider cable creates a ?sawing effect? against the plastic housing. This sawing effect will create slack in the cable reducing the accuracy of the needle position or saw the plastic housing completely through. This replacement offers a quick and easy repair to bring your shift needle position back to proper alignment through the shift range. Plus having a bright new orange needle really adds that splash of color back to your dash that was lost through years of fading.
