Originally, the spark ignition on Model A Fords was controlled from the steering column, using the spark rod. This Nu-Rex automatic spark timing mechanical advance system eliminates the need for your spark rod. Once adjusted, this system will automatically provide proper spark timing for optimum fuel burning efficiency. System includes a centrifugal advance mechanism, replacement shaft, replacement spring, and a Nu-Rex distributor cam wrench. This system is simple to install and requires no modifications to the distributor, engine or timing procedures.
