Our speedometers are professionally rebuilt to the highest quality standards. All internals are reconditioned or replaced. Each gauge is tested to insure proper operation before shipping. Please allow 2-3 weeks for the rebuilding process. Comes with a five year manufactures warranty.
The Speed Sensor senses how fast the speedometer magnet shaft is turning, with relation to possible pollution control/monitor. This was a failed attempt for improved emissions that was eventually discontinued. The sensor appears as a connector behind the dash and plugs into an opening in the back of the speedometer. Deleting the speed sensor will not effect the operation of your vehicle or the gauge itself. If you plan on using this system, please specify that you have the speed sensor.
