Description
Rear Suspension Upgrade. The Detroit Speed Rear Suspension Speed Kit 3 for Stock Axles is engineered to enhance rear suspension geometry and tire contact throughout the full range of travel. It increases articulation of the rear axle housing, improving handling and ride quality by minimizing axle movement limitations without requiring noisy heim joints.
_x000D__x000D_Construction and Appearance. This kit includes precision-crafted tubular steel components with durable finishes designed for long-lasting performance. The supplied springs, shock absorbers, and sway bars are designed to work cohesively with front suspension kits, providing modern muscle car handling while maintaining classic aesthetics.
_x000D__x000D_Installation. Installation requires a moderate skill level and no drilling. The components are engineered for direct bolt-in fitment. Adjustments such as pinion angle and wheelbase are made via the patented swivel-links without disassembly.
_x000D__x000D_Application. Specifically designed to fit 1964 through 1966 El Camino models equipped with stock axle housings. This kit excludes wagon models. Note that some 1964 models may require an optional smaller bushing due to axle housing size variations.
