      NOTE: The name “El Camino” did not officially appear on owner’s manuals until the 1977 model year. Owner’s manuals before 1977 were combined with other lines like Chevelle, but can include Impala, Camaro and Monte Carlo. If you are a 1977 or earlier El Camino owner be aware that your owners manual will not carry the El Camino name.
