The Edelbrock Performer RPM Oval Port BB Intake Manifold is engineered for street use on 396-502 cubic inch Chevrolet big-block V8 engines with large oval-port cylinder heads. It enhances horsepower while maintaining excellent torque and driveability, making it ideal for performance enthusiasts seeking a balanced powerband across 1500 to 6500 RPM.

      Construction and Appearance. Crafted from durable aluminum, this intake manifold features a satin finish that resists corrosion and adds a sleek appearance under the hood. Its dual-plane design optimizes airflow for improved engine efficiency throughout the RPM range.

      Installation. Installation is straightforward and requires no drilling. Proper sealing requires the use of specific intake gaskets such as Edelbrock 7203 and RTV sealant like Edelbrock High Temp Silicone Sealant 1076. It is important to use hardened washers with the intake bolts to ensure correct torque and prevent galling of the aluminum. Compatible carburetor brackets are required for certain applications.
