The Flowmaster 1-3/4 Primary Long Tube Headers 68-74 are engineered to replace restrictive factory manifolds, improving throttle response, power, and engine efficiency. They are designed for enthusiasts seeking maximum performance with a straightforward installation process.

      Construction and Appearance. Constructed from 16-gauge 409 stainless steel, these headers feature a durable silver ceramic coating that provides heat resistance and extends component life. The headers come equipped with heavy-duty 3/8-inch thick flanges and 3-inch ball-flange collector connections for a leak-free seal and sleek appearance.

      Installation. Installation is straightforward and designed for ease, with all necessary hardware and gaskets included. No drilling is required; however, ensure the use of big block frame stands and motor mounts for proper engine positioning and fitment.

      Warranty. The product includes a manufacturer-backed warranty to provide confidence and support for the purchaser.

      Application. Fits 65-72 El Camino; 71-72 Sprint. Note that these headers do not fit with Powerglide transmissions or Saginaw close ratio steering with the 825 power steering box, and proper motor mounts and frame stands are required for correct clearance and installation.
