With this product, the square versus spread bore dilemma will no longer be an issue because it adapts a square bore carburetor to a spread bore manifold. This adapter base plate allows use of a square bore (5-5/8" x 5-1/8") carburetor on a spread bore (5-5/8" x 4-1/4") manifold. It's the perfect way to combine the 600 CFM Edelbrock carburetor, P/N E-1406 with the Edelbrock Performer intake manifold, P/N INT-111. For use with Edelbrock spreadbore intake manifolds when installing a square bore carburetor.
