    Description

    Carburetor Heat Insulator. The Edelbrock 9267 Dual Quad Insulator Kit 2 is designed to prevent fuel percolation caused by extreme under-hood temperatures. It acts as an effective heat barrier between the carburetor and the manifold, ensuring optimal carburetor performance and fuel delivery under demanding conditions.

    Construction and Appearance. These heat insulator gaskets are made from a nitrile rubber composite material, offering excellent heat resistance and durability. They feature a square bore shape and four-hole design for precise sealing, with a thickness of 0.125 inches.

    Installation. To install, remove the carburetors and associated hardware, replace the original studs with longer ones, and position the heat insulator gaskets directly against the manifold. The process is straightforward with no drilling required; however, check air cleaner clearance prior to installation.
