      Description

Perhaps the easiest, single most important modification you can make to your classic Chevy; the rear shock bar relocation kit. The original 1955-57 Chevys were poorly designed in this area. The rear shocks bolted directly to the trunk floor. This shock relocation kit moves the upper rear shock mount location down to the frame where Chevrolet should have put them! To install the shock bar, all that is required is drilling 4 holes in the frame and bolt it in. This rear shock bar relocation kit may be used with stock and replacement rear shocks; no special shock absorbers are required. It is 35-1/4" wide and is designed to be used with 1-piece frame cars with no weld seam down the bottom center of the frame rails. It will fit all passenger cars, wagons, Nomads and Deliverys.
