Description
This Chevy copper core V8 radiator is a very close replacement of the stock original radiator. It is constructed with ??" vertical down-flow cooling tubes on 9/16" centers with a 2" thick core, just like the original. The brass top and bottom tanks are correctly ribbed with the inlet and outlets in the stock location. The V8 position radiator is flanged to mount behind the core support bar, close to the engine fan. This configuration requires the use of a short water pump small block in order to clear the radiator. The bottom tank on this manual transmission radiator does not include a transmission cooler. In addition, the overflow tube requires the addition of a rubber hose extension in order to dump at the bottom like the steel original did. Additional items you may want to purchase
