Description
Power Steering Pulley. The Power Steering Crankshaft Driver Pulley provides the necessary connection for the power steering system by fastening to the crankshaft pulley. It is designed to add the power steering option to small block engines, ensuring proper belt alignment and smooth operation. This pulley is an essential component for vehicles equipped with power steering.
Construction and Appearance. Made from heavy gauge stamped steel, this pulley features a durable single groove design. It includes correct stamped numerals and text for an authentic appearance, replicating the original equipment.
Installation. Installation is straightforward, allowing for a secure fit on the crankshaft pulley. It is designed to easily retrofit on compatible engines.
Application. This pulley fits small block engines with the short water pump power steering option on multiple GM vehicles from 1964 to 1974, including but not limited to the 64-68 Chevelle models.
Warning. This stock replacement pulley is not designed to exceed 400 horsepower or 6,000 RPM.
