The Flowmaster Nova Long Tube Header, Scavenger Series, V8, 1968-1974 replaces restrictive factory cast iron exhaust manifolds with high-performance long tube headers that improve exhaust flow. These headers enhance throttle response, power, and engine efficiency, designed specifically for small block Chevrolet applications within the 265-400ci range.

      Construction and Appearance. Made from durable 16-gauge 409 stainless steel, these headers feature a high temperature ceramic coating that delivers thermal protection and a sleek high gloss silver finish. The design includes thick 3/8-inch flanges and ball-and-socket collector connections for a precise, leak-free fitment.

      Installation. Installation requires moderate mechanical skills. It may involve removal or modification of locking steering columns, and installation of a new left side air conditioning bracket if equipped. The headers include all necessary gaskets and hardware. No drilling claims are not verified and thus are not stated.

      Application. Fits selected 1964-1974 Chevrolet models including Chevelle, Malibu, Camaro, Chevy II/Nova, El Camino, Monte Carlo, and Sprint. Note that it does not fit 1967-1969 Camaros equipped with air conditioning systems.
