      Description

      Complete Automatic Shifter. The SWS-168-72 Chevelle Auto Shifter is a fully assembled, ready-to-install unit designed for console-equipped cars. It provides smooth and reliable gear shifting for two and three speed automatic transmissions, ensuring optimal driving performance and safety.

      Construction and Appearance. This shifter includes a bright heavy chrome die-cast handle with a handle cover that features the correct grain pattern and silver mylar accent bands. The pull-up mechanism and spring are crafted from polished stainless steel. The base is stamped and all components have plated finishes for a concours-quality appearance.

      Installation. The shifter assembly is complete and ready to install, requiring no additional parts or modifications for installation.

      Application. Specifically designed to fit 1968-1972 Chevelle models equipped with consoles, compatible with all two and three speed automatic transmissions.
