Description

The BDS 4-Inch Suspension Lift Kit with Rear Lift Blocks and NX2 Nitro Shocks enhances your Bronco’s stance and off-road capability by increasing ground clearance and tire clearance for up to 33-inch tires. Designed specifically for 4WD models equipped with power steering, this kit optimizes suspension geometry and ride quality for a smoother, more controlled driving experience across various terrains.
Construction and Appearance. The kit includes heavy-duty, cast iron lift blocks tapered for correct pinion angle and offset steel pins to restore proper axle positioning. Front lift components comprise Pro-Ride dual-rate coil springs, forged pitman arms, and pressure-charged NX2 shocks with vehicle-specific valving. All components are engineered for durability and are finished to withstand rugged conditions.
Installation. Installation requires moderate mechanical skills and specialty tools such as an air hammer and pitman arm puller. The process involves drilling in some areas and can be completed in approximately six hours by a professional or experienced enthusiast.
Application. This lift kit is designed specifically for 1980-1996 Ford Bronco 4WD models equipped with power steering. It is not compatible with Broncos lacking power steering systems and may require extended brake lines and optional front anti-sway bar brackets for proper fitment.
