    .An Idle Stop Solenoid is an electrically operated plunger in a carburetor that provides a predetermined throttle setting at idle and closes the throttle completely when the ignition switch is turned off. Also known as antidieseling solenoid. Replace the failed part on your 1977, 1978, 1979, 1980, 1981, 1983, 1984, 1985, 1986, 1987 and 1988.
