Steering column lower bearings are crucial to the peak performance of your Chevelle. The steering column connects the column to the steering mechanism, and it also plays a role in transferring torque from the steering wheel. Within the column lies the steering shaft, which is supported, by bearings at the top and the bottom of the column. These bearings allow the steering column fluid rotation.
