      Description

      High-Performance Intake Manifold. The Edelbrock Performer Vortec Manifold is designed for all Small-Block Chevrolet engines with 1996 and newer L31 Vortec cylinder heads. It enhances airflow and fuel distribution for improved engine efficiency and power across a broad RPM range, making it ideal for marine, industrial, and automotive applications. This manifold supports both Q-Jet and 4150-style square bore carburetors, providing versatility for various engine builds.

      Construction and Appearance. Constructed from high-quality aluminum, this intake manifold features a satin finish that resists corrosion while providing a clean, refined look. The dual-plane design optimizes air velocity and fuel atomization to enhance low- and mid-range torque performance, ideal for street and performance engines.

      Installation. Installation is straightforward with no drilling required; however, modification of stock brackets may be necessary to accommodate upright manifold bolt holes. Proper use of RTV sealant and hardened washers is essential to ensure a secure and leak-free fitment.

      Warranty. This intake manifold is backed by a 12-month warranty against defects.

      Application. Specifically fits 64-67 Malibu and 64-69 Chevelle models. Note that it will not fit under the stock Corvette hood, and bracket modifications are required for stock mounting points.
