      Description

      The A6 is a proven workhorse of a compresor. It is big and heavy, but when properly maintained it gives many years and miles of dependable service. In addition, other types of compressors look out-of-place on otherwise original engine compartments. A6s had two positions for the electrical connector: 10:00 and 2:00. This one is the 10:00 type. In other words, it is slightly counter-clockwise from the top. Please make sure this is the type you need before ordering. Don't forget to order a receiver-drier/accumulator. These have dessicant in them and should be changed every time the A/C system is opened. The only way the warranty on a compressor can be honored is if the dryer was changed at the same time.
