Chevy Classics has developed a simple solution to stop the inherent "burp" from cast iron Powerglides. One common cause of transmission fluid backing up and overflowing is the failure of a one-way valve in the assembly. This failure prevents the fluid returning from the torque converter to the main case from being properly managed, leading to an overflow.
In the past, the only solution was to tear down the transmission and repair the faulty valve. This process was both costly and time-consuming. Now, with the introduction of this kit (Part #19-28), you can resolve this issue in less than one hour of shop time!
