At higher rpms your mustangs coolant pressure and temperature fight for control of your stock thermostat keeping it from opening at its designed temperature, but this high flow thermostat is designed to resist large variations in coolant pressures to open at the correct temperature regardless of engine rpm.
Quality Construction. This 180 degree High Flow thermostat features an all brass and copper construction for reliable long life.

73 Vette 350 valve covers
Quality product. Easy installation. Used cork gaskets. A little adhesive to inside lip of valve cover and one side of gasket made for a simple install. No leaks. Had to get a longer belt for A/C because these covers are about 1 1/2” taller than original covers.
