The Edelbrock Performer Vortec Intake Manifold is engineered to optimize airflow and enhance engine performance for Small-Block Chevrolet engines equipped with Vortec heads. It improves throttle response and increases horsepower throughout the RPM range, making it an excellent choice for street and marine applications requiring a reliable and efficient intake manifold.

      Construction and Appearance. Crafted from durable aluminum with a satin finish, this manifold offers corrosion resistance and a clean, attractive look. Its dual-plane design enhances torque across a broad RPM range while ensuring a smooth idle for everyday drivability.

      Installation. Installation requires no drilling, though some modification to stock brackets is necessary for the upright manifold bolt holes. Use recommended sealants and hardened washers to ensure a secure, leak-free installation. Avoid overtightening fittings and follow proper sealing procedures for optimal results.

      Warranty. This intake manifold includes a 12-month warranty protecting against manufacturing defects and ensuring reliable performance.

      Application. Designed specifically for Chevrolet Small-Block Gen I Vortec engines from 262 to 400 cubic inches, equipped with 1996 and newer L31 Vortec cylinder heads, and compatible with modern marine and industrial engines. Note that it does not fit under stock Corvette hoods and has compatibility restrictions for emissions-controlled vehicles. Please check local regulations before installation.
