      High-Performance Intake Manifold. The Edelbrock Intake Manifold Performer Oval Port BB is engineered for street Chevrolet big-block V8 engines ranging from 396 to 502 cubic inches. It optimizes horsepower and torque delivery, improving driveability and engine efficiency, while catering to those seeking enhanced street performance without sacrificing reliability or compatibility with late-model accessories.

      Construction and Appearance. Crafted from durable aluminum, this intake manifold features a satin finish for corrosion resistance and an attractive look. Its dual-plane design promotes efficient air-fuel mixture flow, enhancing engine response across a wide RPM range.

      Installation. Installation requires no drilling and is straightforward using recommended intake gaskets and hardware. Proper sealing is achieved with RTV sealant such as Edelbrock High Temp Silicone Sealant 1076, and hardened washers are necessary when tightening bolts to ensure correct torque and prevent aluminum galling. Note that this intake manifold will not fit under the stock hoods of Corvette (1964-67), Chevelle (1964-67), or Camaro (1967-81) due to height restrictions.
