Premium Long Tube Headers. The Exhaust Headers Coated 289, 302 & 351w improve exhaust flow and engine efficiency for small block V8 engines from 1966 to 1973. Designed to enhance horsepower and torque, these long tube headers optimize performance at higher RPMs and offer significant enhancements at mid-range RPMs. They are tailored for applications with adequate space to accommodate their longer design.

Construction and Appearance. Constructed from durable steel with an 18 gauge tube wall, these headers feature a proprietary metallic ceramic coating. This coating acts as a thermal barrier, lowering under hood temperatures and minimizing metal fatigue. Additionally, a vibratory finishing process provides a high-luster silver aluminum appearance with semi-gloss sheen and increases corrosion resistance by 60% over unpolished surfaces.

Installation. Installation requires moderate mechanical skill and fits directly to OEM header bolt locations without drilling. Some applications with power steering require a specific bracket (H7609). Overall, the headers install cleanly with minimal modification required, depending on vehicle setup.

Application. Specifically fits 1966-1973 Ranchero vehicles equipped with 289, 302, or 351 V8 engines. Power steering setups require an additional mounting bracket for proper fitment.
