Description
PRECISION STEERING UPGRADE. The Power Rack and Pinion transforms your 66-67 Ranchero's steering by replacing the stock setup with a bolt-on, geometrically correct rack and pinion system. Designed for enhanced steering feel and elimination of bump steer, this kit offers a direct and reliable upgrade for small block V8 engines, improving control and driving experience.
CONSTRUCTION AND APPEARANCE. Featuring a center take-off rear steer rack mounted on a single-piece bracket, the assembly is engineered for durability and precise fitment. Components include high-quality hardware and tie rod ends, finished to withstand rigors of use while maintaining a professional, functional appearance compatible with the vehicle’s mechanical setup.
INSTALLATION. Installation is straightforward with bolt-on mounting and does not require drilling. While compatible with factory headers and some aftermarket options, minor modifications may be needed for other headers, so mechanical experience is recommended.
APPLICATION. Specifically designed to fit 1966-67 Ranchero models equipped with 289 or 302 small block V8 engines. This kit is not intended for other Ford models or engine configurations of the same era and must be used only on the designated Ranchero vehicles.
