      1969, 1970, 1971, 1973 El Camino Neutral safety switches are found on all automatic transmission as a clutch safety switch. The El Camino or Sprint neutral safety switch is a critical safety device that disables the starter operation when the vehicles transmission is not in neutral or park. When in park or neutral, this Chevrolet or GMC switch carries starter solenoid voltage when the ignition key is turned to the start position. If the engine was allowed to start in gear, your 1969, 1970, 1971, 1972, 1973 El Camino or Sprint could jump forward cause a dangerous accident situation or front end damage to your baby.
