Engine Mount Conversion. The Full Size Chevy Engine Conversion Bracket Kit, LS1, 1958-1972, provides a secure and reliable mounting solution for installing Chevy LS series engines into vehicles originally set up for small block Chevy V8s. This kit ensures proper engine positioning in the factory chassis location while maintaining compatibility with standard 2WD configurations. It is designed to accommodate popular LS engine displacements, facilitating modern engine swaps with confidence and durability.

Crafted from durable steel, the kit includes frame mount plates and mounting hardware finished with temporary black shipping paint to protect during transit. Rubber pads are used in the mounting system to provide necessary dampening and vibration isolation. The black-painted bracket maintains a clean appearance while allowing users to finish it to suit their preferences if desired.
_x000D__x000D_Installation. Installation requires moderate mechanical skills, with the potential need for motor mount shims to properly align the engine within the chassis. No drilling is required to install the brackets, but a passenger car A/C compressor must be used as truck compressors are incompatible.
