Description
High Performance Lock-Up. The Boss Hog TH-350C Street Bandit Series 298mm Super Lightweight Lock-Up Converter with a 30-spline input shaft and 3,500–4,200 RPM stall range is engineered to deliver superior torque converter performance for GM Chevy transmissions. It improves power transfer by reducing rotational mass and reinforcing weak points such as the stator and lock-up liner, making it ideal for high-performance street and racing applications.
Construction and Appearance. Crafted with a hardened chrome moly hub and Torrington style incased bearings, this converter features a modified heavy-duty stator and extreme-duty lock-up liner. The unit is precision CNC machined with a 1.703 inch crank pilot and finished with digitally balanced components for reliability and durability. Four-corner tac welded or brazed fins provide added strength and structural integrity.
Installation. The converter installs using standard hardware with 3/8 x 16 TPI grade 8 bolts. The design eliminates the need for the input shaft O-ring, simplifying installation and improving reliability. No drilling or special modifications are required.
