Performance Upgrades
Over the years, I’ve made several modifications to improve the car’s performance and reliability:

Engine Enhancements:
- Intake: Aluminum Blue Thunder intake (chrome-coated).
- Water Pump: High-volume Edelbrock water pump (chrome-coated).
- Camshaft and Timing: Holman Moody camshaft, springs, lifters, and a double roller timing chain and gear.
- Ignition System: Pertronix electronic ignition with an igniter coil.
- Carburetor: 750 Holley carburetor.

Rebuild Work:
- Rebuilt heads with port work to accommodate unleaded gas.
- New main and rod bearings.
- Replaced rings for enhanced durability.
Restoration and Aesthetic Enhancements

Paint:
- Approximately 10 years ago, my friend Chuck Clark and I repainted the car in its original Competition Orange, using a base/clear coat for a vibrant and durable finish.

Interior:
- Custom black and orange upholstery was created to perfectly match the car’s exterior, giving it a unified and striking appearance.
Current Status
With just over 100,000 miles on the odometer, my Cyclone GT runs strong and remains a head-turner at car shows and on the street. It’s a blend of vintage muscle car styling and modern reliability, making it a joy to own and drive.
